New CEO Hired for Ludlow Community Center / Randall Boys & Girls Club

On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to announce that the Ludlow Community Center / Randall Boys & Girls Club has hired a new President and Chief Executive Officer — Josue Irizarry from Windsor, Connecticut. He will begin serving in this position on Monday, June 12.

Irizarry has served as the senior director at the New Britain-Berlin YMCA, Events Coordinator at the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University, and Executive Director of the Tri-Town YMCA branches of the Greater Hartford YMCA. Most recently, Josue served as the Executive Director of Educational Resources for Children in Enfield, CT.

When asked about his appointment to the position, Irizarry responded, “I am excited for this new chapter in my career and the opportunity to shape the future of the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys & Girls Club.  My goal is to ensure that the Boys & Girls Club succeeds in meeting the needs of the community we serve and continues to expand our impact and our collaborative partnerships to build a stronger community.  We will provide a safe place for all, continue to implement innovative programs and services, and ensure that everyone has access and an opportunity to thrive. I look forward to connecting with the many members, leaders and organizations which makes this such an amazing community.”

The staff and the Board of Directors at the Club look forward to working with Josue as we work together to make a difference in the town of Ludlow!
